Cornell is looking for creative freelancers

Are you pursuing a career in the arts, entertainment, or media industries in New York City?

The Worker Institute at Cornell University, along with seven partner organizations in the arts, is creating a Worker Resource Center for young creative workers in NYC.

Starting this fall, the Center will provide an online space to access vital information, resources, and networking and career-building opportunities. If you have a couple of hours to join a focus group, which will help shape the new A&E WRC, please reach out.

• Are you involved in some way in the production of cultural content, either through performance, creating artistic product, or working in some aspect of the production process?

• Are you interested in good fellowship, with opportunities to network with other creative folks?

• Are you willing to share your ideas, opinions, experiences, successes or mishaps along the way, to further an understanding of how the lives of young workers in this industry might be improved?

• Are you between the ages of 18 and 35?

If you answered yes to these questions, consider joining them.
