Freelancers Union is hiring!

Freelancers Union is the largest union for independent workers in the country, with over 350,000 members.

We're not-your-typical nonprofit, and we look for not-your-typical employees. We're collaborative, open-minded, adaptable, creative, and action-oriented. We work in a fast-paced and fun environment in Downtown Brooklyn, and we’re constantly exploring interesting new ideas.

Here are some of the open positions:

Campaign and Content Strategist (freelance)

We’re looking for a freelance Campaign and Content Strategist to drive growth and engagement and produce excellent community content. They'll play a vital role in building and implementing Freelancers Union’s member organizing strategy, including developing creative social engagement strategies and managing the growth of the leading blog for freelancers.

Member Organizer (freelance)

The Member Organizer will help grow member engagement and oversee key member-led programs, helping freelancers lead meaningful, independent lives. They'll also oversee the growth and development of SPARK, a network of local freelance communities + meetups in over 20 cities across the U.S.

Member Services Associate (Part Time)

The Member Services Associate will help our members by becoming become an expert at troubleshooting common challenges and educate freelancers about the broad range of services, products, and advocacy events we offer
