Freelancers across the nation will unite to spread awareness about client nonpayment, as well as recruit fellow freelancers and freelance allies to support the #FreelanceIsntFree movement.In New York City, we'll be gathering at 6 different coworking spaces in Manhattan to drive campaign sign ups, do a little networking and let the big, bad city of New York know that #FreelanceIsntFree

Nationally, members will receive special kits next week with printiable supplies and fun suggestions for sparking the #FreelanceIsntFree movement in their local areas. And, at 2 p.m. - 3 p.m. EST we'll host a #FreelanceIsntFree Twitter Party to rally for the cause on social media!

@FreelancersU will be sharing facts, taking questions, and retweeting your most gruesome nonpayment stories. We'll also be doing some cool giveaways!
