Free unlimited primary care for freelancers

There’s a crisis in primary care.

By 2020, America will be 45,000 primary care doctors short of what we need. While half of all doctors visits are for primary care, only seven percent of new med school graduates are choosing a primary care career. Yet decades of research shows primary care doctors help provide patients with better outcomes at lower cost.

So, who’s making sure freelancers get the care they deserve?

The members of Freelancers Union, that’s who.

After all, #NobobyLooksOutForUsLikeUs.

That’s why more than three years ago we began building the nation’s first freelancer-focused primary care centers, Freelancers Medical.

The practices in Brooklyn and Manhattan were built with the busy lives of freelancers in mind. They coordinate the care freelancers need -- doctors, health coaches, family care, registered nurses, health coaches, yoga teachers, meditation teachers, behavioral health specialists -- all under one roof to make sure you stay healthy and sane.

This is where primary care is going -- well, for rich people, at least. But, thanks to the solidarity of freelancers, more than 4,500 working freelancers are already living the future at these practices.

Here are the 2015 plans that offer access to Freelancers Medical.

In the words of the Wall Street Journal:

Freelancers Medical provides “the city’s middle-class contract workers with the sort of team-based, VIP health care frequently available only to Bloomberg types.”

At Freelancers Medical, enrolled freelancers get:

  • Free unlimited primary care
  • Easy access to your doctor by skype or email
  • A team of doctors, nurses, and health coaches to guide you through the shifting healthcare landscape

And it’s airy, welcoming, and refreshing:
