More Media Attention: WSJ on Freelancers

Our Unpaid Wages Campaign continues to pick up steam and media attention. The Wall Street Journal reports on a few cases of freelancers who "Fight to Be Paid." We've found that 77% of freelancers have been stiffed by a deadbeat company: The client tells you you're great, they love your work, and then one day they run out on the bill. It's not your fault. The Department of Labor makes sure W-2 employees get paid, while freelancers have to sue for their check or just walk away. We're working on making sure freelancers get the same protection as traditional workers, but we need your help: tweet about the campaign or tell your story of not getting paid.
