Inside Freelancers Union's subway ads

Those of you who've seen our past ads will recall that we've always had a bold, graphical style. It was inspired by early Russian Constructivism and WWI poster art. For our new campaign, we're moving in the direction of Dada. Check it out:

If this ad awakens some dim memory from a college art history class, there's a reason. It refers to the famous poster for the Dada exhibition of 1919. And of course those two bars can be interpreted as a simple design element, or as an equal sign that visually reiterates the idea of fairness stated in the copy. We owe all this to the brilliant minds at Sit, Stay, Good Dog!, who create our ads. More to come, later this week!
