The number of workers claiming deductions for home offices more than doubled from 1991 to 2005, according to CNN.com.  The article has some familiar tips and warnings for home office deductions: the space must be used exclusively for work, save every receipt, and, if you're self-employed, use Form 8829 to calculate your deduction and list it on Schedule C.
