New census stats on the uninsured
The Census Bureau has released its 2006 figures on insurance coverage, and they show a continuation of the previous year's trends: the percentage of uninsured Americans has risen to 15.8% and coverage through employers continues to decline. And, as always, we continue to believe in the importance of viable alternatives to the employer system.
