If you live in New York City, you know how overwhelming the prospect of buying a home can be. Tonight, though, there's an event in Brooklyn for "non-traditional wage earners": Home Buying for Hipsters (via Brownstoner). Don't be put off by the name--this is an innovative organization dedicated to educating a segment of the population that, by HBfH's own definition, includes freelancers.
