Nonpayment is so ubiquitous among freelancers that many of us just take it as par for the course for an independent worker. It's time to change that.

We're looking for Freelancers Union members in NYC who are ready to take a more active role in advocating on behalf of the freelance workforce. We need people willing to share their nonpayment stories at member events with City Council as well as to members of the press.

If you've had enough of waiting for months to get paid; accepting less than what was originally promised; or not getting paid at all for your work – we want to talk to you!
