Ask your business questions (and get answers!)

Jun 24, 2015

If you haven’t noticed, we’re a little obsessed with community.

We believe-- scratch that, we know-- your network is everything. And it shows: the most successful freelancers turn to their community when they need help, or just a quick hit of advice. They also give back in return.

To get the ball rolling for our July 1 Peer-to-Peer Business Workshop Spark, we’re hosting a week-long community Q&A event in our Ask your business questions (and get answers!) Hive.

All week, the Freelancer’s Union team, along with a panel of hand-picked experts, will field your most pressing business-related questions. But we encourage you to take an active role in the conversation!

Here’s how:

Come to the Ask your business questions (and get answers!) Hive to crowdsource actionable solutions to questions like: “How do I get new clients?”, “What’s the best way to make sure I get paid on time?” or "What steps can I take to scale my growing business?"

Our panelists cover a wide range of expertise including:

  • writing and content strategy
  • tax planning for businesses
  • life coaching and consulting
  • start-up life in the C-suite

Even if you don't have a question about your own business, this is a great opportunity to share your knowledge and make connections within the community. Check out the Hive now to see if you can answer a fellow freelancer's question or just to share a best-practice you think others could use!

Our panel of experts includes:

Michael Dermer: SVP and Chief Incentive Officer, Welltok

Xavier Fan: Tech consultant and actor

Laurie Gerber: Senior Coach and Co-President of Handel Group

Tina Rudolf: Staff Coach at Handel Group

Adam Jun: Freelance Digital Copywriter and Content Strategist

Howard Samuels: CPA and Tax Specialist

We are stronger together: Workshop your business with the community here.
