We know that freelancers continue to get stiffed while the companies that employ them get off scot free. That’s why we launched a campaign to protect freelancers from unpaid wages. The media is picking up on the story. The Daily News highlighted the issue and pointed out how we’re using latest subway ads (featuring, for the first time, our members) to highlight the campaign. We’re asking members to share the names of the bad apples and some names are starting to show up again and again. We're asking members to join the campaign so that we can help guarantee equal protection under the law and increase penalties to companies who don't pay freelancers what they're owed.
