In good company: Freelancers Union’s endorsements same as NY Times
Last month, Freelancers Union announced its endorsements for David Yassky for Comptroller and Bill de Blasio for Public Advocate in New York City’s 2009 primary election, and we’re not alone. Just this week, The New York Times also made the same endorsements for these citywide races, stating that David Yassky is the candidate “most suited to do the job, with skill, intelligence and independence” and that Bill de Blasio has the “best record” in improving the “quality of life for New Yorkers.” These candidates certainly have the best records on freelancer issues, and we hope you’ll come out to support them at the polls on September 15.
