Dancing about freelancing

Tonight in New York, a dance piece about being a freelance dancer premieres.

Felice Lesser's I Am a Dancer, a multimedia performance, will be running through the weekend at the Baryshnikov Arts Center. The New York Sun has a great feature on Lesser, the director/choreographer, and on the challenges of being a freelance dancer.
