Join LiquidTalent for the Future of Work Summit on April 6th

This post is from our partners at LiquidTalent, a local talent marketplace for hiring vetted developers and designers through social connection.

The second annual Brooklyn Future of Work Summit is quickly approaching, and we couldn't be more excited about it!

Hosted in partnership with the Brooklyn Chamber of Commerce, the April 6th Future of Work Summit will take place at Brooklyn Law School from 8:30 a.m. - 1 p.m. The Summit discussion will revolve around the central theme of the Future of Work, and include breakout topics such as hiring and retention, the freelance economy, and staying compliant in an ever-changing legal landscape.

Freelancers Union's Director of Member Engagement, Caitlin Pearce, will discuss “Leveraging the Project-Based Economy: Is 1099 The Future?” in one of our special break-out panel sessions. Tickets are free for LiquidTalent members and $15 for the general public - reserve yours here and use the code "futureofwork" for an exclusive Freelancers Union members discount.

In 2015 LiquidTalent produced three Future of Works Summits. Over 600 New Yorkers came out to engage with our line up of expert speakers, keynote presenters and professional panels. Summit attendees reported countless moments of inspiration and connections.

At LiquidTalent, we're bringing the Future of Work to you now through our digital web and mobile applications, and our hosted experiences. The Future of Work Summits are the crown jewels of LiquidTalent's experiences. Bigger, bolder, and more immersive, these Summits provide a stage for some of the city's most transformative thinkers and doers, and creates a space for like-minded members of the community to interact in a unique learning environment.
