What would you have done differently after graduation?

There are millions of graduates entering the world this month, and many of them dream of freelancing or starting their own business.

54% of Millennials either want to start a business or already have, but an additional 19% would prefer to juggle freelance work while working full-time, according to a survey by Elance.

What advice would you give these aspiring freelancers?

If you were graduating high school or college today, what would you do differently?

According to a recent survey conducted by Millennial Branding, 33% of all generations would have rather started a business than attended college in the first place. Among hiring managers, 64% would still consider a candidate who hadn’t even attended college, and 73% felt that colleges were only “somewhat preparing” students for a career.

Would you go to college right after high school? Would you take a break to explore the world before you got “serious” about studying? (Would you not go to college at all?)

Would you take different classes? A different major? More internships? More business classes?

The thousands of graduates who hope to become freelancers want to know what you think.
