What Would You Build?

There’s a space in Brooklyn built by freelancers, for freelancers, and we need your help to write its next chapter.

Imagine a 700-foot member room in our freelancer hall as your blank canvas; if you could host an event, gathering, or shindig in this space, what would it be?

Let us know, and you could see your idea come to life!

The Brooklyn freelancer hall is currently a space where you can meet new people, network, take free yoga classes, and learn from expert freelancers. It hosts our popular, consistently-sold-out Freelance 360 series (like our upcoming Building a Foundation for Your Freelance Life workshop and 6 Degrees of Networking). In fact, the hall has become so popular that we’re building another freelancer hall in Manhattan, which will open in January.

Email us at we-are-builders@freelancersunion.org with your idea. Art exhibit? Design class? Food fair? We're open. Please submit your ideas by 10/22. Along with a small panel of freelancers, we’ll look through your submissions, put the top entries up for a vote next week, and on November 11, we’ll throw an event based on the winner’s idea in Brooklyn.

Your ideas should and must shape how your space will be used. We look forward to seeing what you come up with!
