Our talented friends over at Docracy made a video that hits too close to home for freelancers. “What It Feels Like To Be A Freelancer” takes the experience of dealing with clients out into the light of day – literally, to a park, where a young lady promising $5 for a simple drawing proves to be a really fickle boss.

How many times have you heard one of those wimpy-worded phrases from a deadbeat client? It’s pretty f&%*ing (ahem…freelancing) frustrating. Even a small piece of the World’s Longest Invoice gives an idea of how many wages go unpaid. We can just hear a chorus of independent workers joining the participants in the video with a loud, “That’s NOT fair.”
