We came out behind Brad Lander for the 39th district (Park Slope and environs) City Council seat in this fall's NYC primary. But one of our most active members, Caron Atlas, has been rooting for Brad for years! Lander's blog recently featured an interview with her about the work she does for his campaign and why Brad Lander is worth her time (on top of a freelance career!). My colleagues on the Advocacy & Policy team at Freelancers Union will agree that Caron is a super volunteer: she's been getting involved in campaigns for freelancers' issues for years. To me, that gives her testimonial about Landers all the more weight. Go Caron, and go Brad!
