We've integrated the the Freelancers Union and Empire systems, and if you call Empire BlueCross/BlueShield at 800-662-5193 they'll have your ID number. To reiterate: members who enrolled in Empire plans for 1/1 have always had coverage that started yesterday. We're just letting you know that if you need your Empire ID number before your insurance card arrives, you can get it immediately. Also, your doctor can call Empire and confirm that you have coverage and submit any claims.
